In Which the Pirate Works.

My new job is pretty cool, even if it is seriously cutting into my knitting time. I did find one co-worker who knows the basics of knitting, but like me, she’s chosen the path of “eating a quick lunch at your desk means you can leave at 4:00 instead of 5:00.” That means a 50 minute drive home instead of a 90 minute drive, so… yeah. No knitting time at work.

I don’t want to let the blog go entirely, but I don’t think I’m going to have daily updates for a while until I work out some kind of schedule for my evenings. There are so many hobbies in addition to knitting that I want to keep up with – playing guitar, learning violin, remembering to go to the gym, reading, and oh yeah, sleep.

Guess this means I’m going to have to catch up with knitting over the weekends!
