The Year in Knitting (and Crocheting, and Weaving, and Crafting…):
2012 Projects
Favourite project:
That’s gotta be the Dancing Cranes stole. It’s simply the most beautiful thing I’ve ever knit… even if it does shed all over everything.
Least Favourite project:
…the ones I still haven’t finished. :(
Patterns Published:
None, and that makes me annoyed.
Last Year’s Resolutions and Plans:
– spin more
– knit something with handspun yarn
– design and publish two new patterns
Yeah, not so much.
- try a new sock architecture
I didn’t get to try any of Cat Bordhi’s sockitectures, but I did really like the toe-up sock with a gusset! It fits really well. If I use the pattern again, I’d probably want to use variegated or (semi-)solid yarn, instead of striped.
- finish Napramach and the Stripy Socks
Er…
- finish the Dancing Cranes stole in time to wear to a wedding
Yes! I did this! And it was awesome!
- cast on for fancy cabled knee socks
- use up more yarn and fibre than I purchase
- get some stock in the Etsy shop
…nope. :/
