I am doing the Tour de Fleece! I just don’t have any pictures yet. Soon, soon!
Meanwhile, here is a picture of Mom’s VERY FIRST SOCK. Isn’t it lovely? And it fits perfectly! I am so proud of her for taking on this project and doing such a good job of it.
I visited with my parents on Sunday and helped Mom with grafting the toe of her sock together. We had a good laugh about mistakes in knitting, and how I’m so good at fixing them because I’ve made so many of them!
The first sock is such a milestone, that is what really got me hooked on knitting in a whole new way. Her sock looks awesome too! Aren’t you a proud daughter?
Thanks Pumpkin, for your compliment on my sock. There certainly is sense of satisfaction for getting over my “fear” of working a whole project with double pointed needles (as compared to just using them for the occasional sweater neckline). So nice to share a hobby with my daughter!
Fantastic, well done Mum! Isn’t it great having a clever daughter to help you out. Mine helps me with sewing :)
