In Which the Pirate Comes Up For Air.

Hi, everyone – wow, things have been busy! Here’s a quick rundown:

My new job is awesome. I love my team, I love the project we’re doing, and I love feeling appreciated at work. I’ve been working on a website redesign for the team, and everyone who has seen it has gasped and told me how much better it is than the last one.

I’ve gone back to physical therapy twice a week, still trying to heal up from the car accidents. Unfortunately this takes up a lot of time. Fortunately it’s made knitting and crocheting less painful already!

I finished a new pair of socks and almost finished a couple of surprise gifts for people, all of which need to be photographed and written up. And I started a new pair of socks that’s a new design, but I’m not sure if anyone will like it because most of the rows begin with purl stitches. I thing it’s pretty though!

Floyd is healthy as a horse, but Kipling is going back to the vet this week. Poor guy is having stomach issues again. Hopefully they can figure out what’s wrong with him.

There’s a lot more going on too, and honestly I’m feeling a little overwhelmed, but I’m just taking it one day at a time, doing what I can, and not beating myself up too badly about the rest. Hopefully I’ll have the time to knit and blog more soon!
